truck pictures from the fifty's

heres some pictures dad took during the fifty's when he was working for the Mines Dept and or Geo Surveys doing mineral gas exploration.

those double decker bus's that still can be seen at Bolards Lagoon and Betoopa Station in central SA. dragged around the desert by Geo Surveys.

this one was taken in the very early sixty's and i wouldnt ming the truck as a go with. lol

not everyones dad had a army duck for fishing/diving and blowing up Jetty's for the government back when i was a kid. talk and tell at school was great!!

not sure which trip the pictures of the army duck were taken as i was pretty young. they went all over with it mainly blasting decommissioned jettys with it. remember arno bay, pennisure and along with others. that could be wallaroo silos by the look of it but not sure they did drop the old wallaroo jetty . i remember it driving off the Berri ferry landing once and cruizing the Murray River. as a kid i thing they were all a bit merry that day. lol
