C1100 ute Which Wider wheels to use?

Is there any one who knows what wider wheels ( not stock) will go under the 1970 C1100 ute without rubbing the inside tub arches? they would have to be dished outwards because there's only about 2 inches clearance with the stock ones. I don't mind widening the guards a little. So is there a brand or size out there that will do the job. I would like 7" on front & 8" on back. I am doing an engine & box upgrade also for the old girl. Holden 5.0 litre injected & TH700 auto might get it along at highway speed a bit better. Should tow well also. Any help with wheels is greatly appreciated.

You could try Neway Wheels in Heidelberg Vic who can modify wheels or build to suit.

Yep ta graham. Theres a mob called Ajax wheels as well. I didn't really want to alter the stock wheels if I could avoid it. Cheers.

What is the bolt pattern? 6 or 8 stud? PCD?
I have used pre metric F250 wheels on a D1310.
You should find anything from Chev, Hummer, Dodge, & Ford are all usually interchangeable

Hi Spinnerboy, the stock wheels are 5 stud ford patten, with the bigger centre bore. Could be F100?

Need to find the PCD - Pitch Circle Diameter

Find the centre point, and measure to centre of a stud.
Multiply by 2
= PCD
