Hullo there in looking at a Dodge AT4 tray top v8 petrol to move the old tractors around. What should I be looking out for and what can anyone tell me about them ?

Rust in the plenum chamber around the vents and in the turret. Everything else is easy to fix. They're a good truck.

Standard Chrysler V8's , AFAIK. (273 / 313 / 318) depending on model and year. Experts will tell more.

There is a Dodge D3F ( the cabover version) for sale on the forum somewhere that might suit. It has the Perkins Diesel so better on fuel.

It appears the guy sold the truck under me before I could get to it. So instead I have agreed to buy a merc 1418
