Dunno if it's the same, but Swishy in 2012 mentioned a Lacre 1914 truck which also has an enclosed chain drive, but Swishy's pic has disappeared, so here it is again from

Allan, I don't reckon the Badge in middle of the radiator say Lacre....
I've NFI what it does say.. but doesn't look anything like lacre to My old eyes..!

Many makers of trucks before, say, 1930 used enclosed chain drives. Lacre is just one of many. When I get time over the next few days I will look out my old book on old trucks and see if I can narrow down possible brands.

All the Albions I have seen have a rising sun emblem across the radiator with their slogan "Sure as the sunrise"
