My next door neighbour, Bernie Tobin (Followmont Transport) is a good bloke who enjoys restoring old vehicles. Here are a few rough shots from this morning in his shed.

You are right about the B Model race truck. 110% restoration. Going back to the original as close as possible from old pics.

Bernie helped us get 50 postie bikes off in his yard this morning. He is a top bloke always ready to help. He is the one on the right of the second bottom photo. My cook in the background was also interested particularly in the furnishings in that white Peterbilt sleeper.

He also has a couple of horses and maybe once a year he hooks them up to the buggy for a run around the neighbourhood. Come to think of it I have not seen the horses for some time so maybe he sold the bloody things. He also has a nice original Model TT truck which rumbles along the street on a quiet Sunday morning quite often.

He started carrying papers in the 80's in Brisbane. Still all family owned run by son Mark and his brother Ben.

Followmont started in 1984, delivering magazines out of a small office in Stones Corner, Brisbane and are now the State's largest family-owned transport company and the preferred Queensland carrier with 850+ staff, 1,000+ vehicles, 19 company-owned regional depots, and a network of local contractors.
