I remember when that song came out. In my case, her name wasn't Sylvia, it was Dawn and her phone number was 7623.

Another song that fitted my situation was "She was too young to fall in love and I was too young to know"

I preferred a song you may not have heard of, that went "You are 16 going on 17 and I am 17 going on 18, much older and wiser am I"
