Forum Snag In a Bun

Ok fello forumers here it is :

Basils snag in a bun will be held for HCVC forum members at 5:00pm on the 26th of August at the MacDonnell Range caravan park.
Only thing in the Hall of Fame itinery for this night is the Alice town markets so its a snag or a tie die'd duffle bag, the choice is yours.
Over the next couple of months let me know if your coming along so I can organise the right amount of tucker.

I don't think that we'll be too upset if you charged us 5-10 bucks a head considering if the RTHOF put it on it would have been $45 each snag sandwich

I will work on about 15 mouths, couple of snags each at this stage and touch base again just before we sign off and leave on the big adventure.
I made a note in my diary you get an extra one cos your special

As a matter of intrest, how do you plan to get the 4.5 k's each way to the THF site???

I asked about Truck parking and was told we could use the "storage " parking area....might need to confirm that.

Yes you and your mob are on the list.
I have two 20m drive through sites next to each other at the MacDonnell range park so we can park our trucks on the sites and my trailer with the workshop/storage container on it.
We are taking a multi seat space shuttle with us for running around town and out to the HOF.
I might put the smarty on also. It fits across the trailer so it doesnt take up much room.
Each day we will run the trucks out there in the morning then pick em up in the afternoon and bring them back to the park.
If you have a camping site you wont have any trouble parking your truck on or at the front of your site.
2005 there were trucks spread all through the park.
The only thing you have to be carefull with though is to plan ahead what your doing each day and dont get caught having a couple of quieties and driving the truck.
We wont be out at the HOF all day every day.
One of the days were going out to the Western MacDonnell ranges. Another day we use as a lazy sod drink to much day.
Trucks will also be secure out at the HOF over night with security. Probibly more so than the overflow yard at the caravan park which is in the dark and un policed.

While we are talking about this trip I will have the workshop with welding gear, stick and TIG, oxy, bearing press, tools etc and a heap of bits and pieces so if any of you need to fix anything come and find me .
