    The Scammell worked on the Tasmanian Hydro scheme and is similar to the Scammells that worked on the Snowy Mts Hydro scheme.

    Some serious gear there. I was passing through Cooma a few weeks back and tried to find if and where the Thornycroft Antar was on display. The one pictured was imported in recent years and is a different mk from the SMA ones.

    That orange Scammell with the rock body and massive upside down transverse spring front end, trying to make out what engine its fitted with.
    Simms type in line injector pump points me towards either a Meadows or more likely a Rolls Royce??
    Maybe one of the N/A 240 hp??
