if I put up a long link it scrolls right out of site to the right and can not scroll back to the left

the other day I linked to the Sultans Mack (11 pic) and it said too many links Q:?
What is the maximum amount of links (old board seemed to be no limit)

The developers of this software must have seen some of your posts and decided to put a limit in there.:)

I will have a look at your problems tomorrow and see what I can find for you.

Hi,

As far as I can tell there is no restriction of image size that the software controls if you are linking it in from another site using the IMG BBcode. In the box where you insert the image URL you can specify a size to the left, which is the width, so maybe if left blank it is limiting you to 400 that you mention in the CtH post.

Can you give me an example of the post with the long link in it so I can take a look.

I did see something about limiting links/attachments to 5 but that was for a feature we are not using yet so not sure that is what is causing your issue with the Sultan.

Hi,

the JD is displaying as expected which is to be resized to 100% of the width of the post body relative to the device it is being displayed. So for a desktop computer it is going to be larger than on a tablet or a phone but will not need to be scrolled left or right.

As your image is 10,000px wide it will display larger when selected or right click'ed, but again it will not be larger than the device will display.

There is a 800px maximum that is applied to whatever is the largest of either the width or the length, so in the case of your second image it is be limited to 800px high and this has probably squeezed the image to keep the proportions accurate.
