Cannot open one post.

This morning I am still logged in and can read all the topics except for "A was for Austin, but now B is for Bedford."  The column on the right says there are seven new posts.

Help.

Same here. When I try to open it, I just get a blank page, no previous posts, nothing. Been happening since last night, but only on this one topic.

That happens occasionally. 

Just move your cursor up to the address bar, and delete /unread off the end of the address, then press enter.

Do same for any page you have same trouble with.

 

I tried to do this. I had to click the right arrow to see the /unread and when I clicked to remove it, the whole address disappeared and closed the site.  I opened it again but still cannot open that topic.

Perhaps the forum masters have decided to ban all that old pommy stuff.

Morris, after re-opening the site, if you still have the /unread on the end of the address of the page you can't see, try placing your cursor at the end of the address (either 1 or 2 left clicks).  You don't want any of the address highlighted, just the flashing cursor at the end.  Then use the Backspace key on your keyboard to delete /unread (so u would press the backspace key 7 times).  Then press Enter.

You think you're having trouble Morris, you  ought to see what fun I'm having!. Posting things and they disappear, come back later and some is there, and then next time I look there is nothing! 

I have not been able to post pictures from my new (second hand) phone for ages and thought I had things working only to discover some weird stuff that I would never consider looking at, let alone posting!

Hopefully it is clear now as I have managed to correct a post tonight???  Only time will tell.

Thank you for your info. I was able to see what you described and delete the offending bit. I can read the topic now.

I have finally been able to do what Brett suggested and can see your latest posts now. Is that on English flag behind you? from what little I know, it looks like a Welsh one. Eichi Dah.
