Hi
Been out and about Central Qld visiting mines as usual and also had a few hours up my sleeve on the return trip home so thought I would make the most of it.
This is at Leichardt Wash Plant in Blackwater, they run the coal from Cook Colliery about 30k

Here is some pics of the machinery we use underground, all the usual pieces are there and about the only thing that changes is the Auto gearbox

And finally here is some pics of the pad at Oaky Ck Open Cut entrance, these cranes are always sitting here but the MACK is one I have not seen around before, although the paint scheme is annoying me as I am sure I have seen that scheme before......Bradshaws?

Hmm, looks like you and all the other drivers of that orange Juggernaut steer it by feel, eh, bouncing of the walls literally.

Just had a look thru all those photos again, WOW, what a lot of lush grass around.

You don't often ever get to see the country looking so good, eh.

Dan - Nice find, and a rare truck, that '35 Studebaker truck, you've snapped in the Nebo council yard.

(I initially thought it was a '34, but the horizontal louvres in the bonnet side panels, ID it as a '35).

That Mack is ex Des Korn from dysart. Toll bought him out a few years ago and do what they do best... whack a toll sticker on the door.
Great pics.
