Was that photo taken in Aussie? I didn't think Merc were going to import them.

Chomper, nah mate, Roland lives in the UK, but he thinks like an Aussie. He drinks cold beer & likes barbies too. Don't reckon the snow plough would get much use here except in the snow fields. Maybe Vicroads could use it on the freeways to move broken down stuff. The laser level gear would come in handy there. cya Tim

OK I'm home again now....
As you rightly say, its not in Oz, it was in Oxford UK yesterday.
It was stood next to an equally nobby looking Unimog.
They are a pair of vehicles on demonstration to local councils.
The Big Boy is a Snow Plough, and the Unimog is a Gritter for spreading Grit ( salt) on the roads when it gets cold here.
The plough could be useful for clearing the Oz roads of roadkill, and Dead KWs and bits of GM engine that have fallen off.
I will scan some more pics now and put them up later.
