Anyone know this truck

We had an incident yesterday where a truck came into work and split a hydraulic hose dumping all its oil on the roadway. This semi arrived with the cleanup crew, unfortunately I couldn't get close enough to see what it is based on.

Hi Ray, it's a specialist made truck, I forget the name of them, but it's something like Dayton. They had that particular truck at the Brisbane Truck show last year and the stand was pretty close to ours.

Going by an article on the company website it is a Ottawa Terminal Tractor

Another article at the same source indicates it is a Daysworth yard tractor. Either way it is a modified terminal or yard tractor rather than a semi modified.

I think it's a Daysworth Jarrod, most of those yard tugs are single drive. The young bloke who owns it has dispensed with the muffler and replaced it with about 200 LED's and the drop visor is a bit of a give away as well.

Interesting the information on the washit site about what they modified on it. Such as the driveline etc so that it can get up to a reasonable road speed etc. But didn't mention the change from single to dual axle rear!

Certainly a good promotional unit, everyone would remember you because of the truck.

Reminds me a bit of of the old steel delivery 1/2 cab rigid trucks from the 60s and 70s!
