Dodge Gearbox?

G'day all
I just took a short trip up to Tamworth to pick up a few Dodge bits I bought off the interweb.

I want to sell what I don't need to hopefully recover some of the cost of the trip/purchase, but I need to identify what I have

I also have a Diff and front Axle which I think may be from a D2 or 3F. The springs are complete whith hangers front and rear and actually look brand new, as in no rust pitting or scaling and look pretty good .

Wheel/Tyre sizes are 8.25 / 16. Very heavy rims.

Hi all, it looks like a Commer/Dodge six speed O/D Gearbox with the extension housing out the back. cheers - Kav

Dose anyone recognise the diff, or can you tell me how to find out the Ratio?

Lift one wheel off the ground.
Mark the tyre, mark the yoke,
Do one full tyre revolution and count the turns on the yoke
Double the answer

Is there a list of Ratio's commonly used by Dodge/Inter etc?

Hi Alistar

Kav is correct with a 6 speed OD "Commer" box.
Turner made them.
Grab it and tuck it away. Grouse synchro gearbox and a tall overdrive.

some of the D3F dodges had the commer 6 speed O/D .. but usually with the turbo perkins and 10 stud wheels

It has a Perkadine 6.354, that's why I bought it, i'm wondering if the diff is the same ratio as my D1310 4wd, as I would like to use the maxi-operated park brake setup on it,
