Dodge D5N 468 - Where do I get it and how do I do it

Hi, Was looking for some advice and help sourcing Steering Drag Link for 76 Dodge DN5 468. Just bought the unit and doing check for re-registration and discovered the steering arm end ball coupling has too much play (which explains tracking steering when bringing it home). Truck shows 63,000 miles and has mainly been used on dirt roads in central NSW although I think it may be second time round although the LA 318 sounds nice and crisp and blows no smoke). Currently only option seems to be getting replacement built as cannot find one from any of the normal suppliers either off net or local larger towns (Goulburn and Canberra) We are going to give it a big tidy up and mechanical refresh - will be used as material collection and stock delivery truck for farm.
Also advice on removing front wheel bearing dust caps - they are hexagonal 2 1/4 inch nut - do they unwind with socket?
We also have a few old Inters, couple of Mitsibishi's and try to keep them fully registered - prefer the older trucks with character and the fact that if something does goes wrong we can fix it here.
Advice/help appreciated.

Will shortly be listing Acco 510A (great Cab) and D1610 4 X 4 for sale.

Thanks Hayseed.
Have just been under the D5N and noticed there is either a plug or adjusting bolt missing from bottom of steering box - the hole is in the middle of
the four bolt plate in line with the steering wheel shaft. I am guessing that it is a drain hole so that the steering box oil can be changed. If you or anyone can
advise if it is a drain plug or adjusting bolt would certainly appreciate it as I have no owner's/workshop manuals or lubrication chart for this vehicle.

PS - cannot yet ascertain if it is a 468 or 478 as the aluminum compliance plate is very hard to read - PO's sprayed paint over it and the Identity plate as well.

The hole of which you speak is actually the end of a pipe which extends above oil level and should have a horn wire going thru it.
