I might be completely wrong here....
Arn't the doors a different size on the later cabs??
i am sure K's have been fitted to SAR's..
Don't know whether ex factory though.

There were a couple in NSW..thought they were kta 450's...Kirky will verify that when he gets back on here..

SAR's with KT450's in NSW - Robertsons of Ivanhoe, Kevin Russell (Copper City Transport).

Kirky has mentioned some others that I think were mainly on coal.

to answer sum of those fittn Q:? U may need to ask a reckers yard or repair center
the SAR came out in 1975
the early SAR were with the small duel headlights with the chrome surround
Not sure when they went to the bigger headlights
Twould imagine th@ all truck sales mighta been a bit slo when the start of the new financial year started July 76 then sales woulda picked up again
A Hi HP SAR would also B noticeably by the Duel large Air-cleaners
Can remember a Interstater Blue n White on Auto 8V92T th@ carted out of a transport yard off Dynon Rd on the banks of the maribynong river Melb (Can't think of there name now) they did refrigerated pan work

Got a question Phil...were you hoping to buy this truck all in one piece?
If not, were you going to build it yourself or contract the work out to various workshops.
Where are you located
