Brother Scout and I paid over $2 per litre more than two years ago at places like Tibooburra, but I did reckon on carying all the fuel from here, we are under $1.20 at the moment.

Pete, one of the tricks with the MIL is that Balcksmith Pete is her SIL too and lives around the corner, I just cart her over to him when I have had my turn.

Sarge i know my old girl dosnt run on diesal but in 2005 the 34 went from Melb to Port August on 180 lts of petrol and Port August to Alice i used about 160 lts and 20 lts of oil . Dave

Hi Sarge, Isnt it amazing .Us queenslanders just started paying full price for our diesel to bring us in line with you southerners,Now we are paying$1.28.9 a litre.I am on the coast at gladstone,not hundreds of Ks inland ian.
