Anyone know the modern paint code equivalent for BALM 8653. Want do some preservation touch on my AT4 due to the previous owner sanding the bonnet in places to bare metal

Might be worth taking it to a good paint shop who will put their magic computer paint reader on the existing paint which almost certainly will be far from the colour it was when first painted.

WOW, Alpine White was the White used on the LJ Torana in the 1970's.

Comes up 1966 in my book, Alpine White as stated. Any good paint shop should be able to mix some up, since you have the number. I expect it would have been Dulux enamel when new.

Alpine white comes up in the Dupli colour range as FSH53 may be coincidental but the last 2 numbers in the Dodge code are the same in the Dupli range. Will check it out tomorrow

Picked up a can of DSH53 Alpine White. Sprayed the top of the bumper to test the colour and decided it was a good match so tried it on one of the doors but you can see a slight shade difference. That might be due to age. May spray the whole door now and feather the colour. I'm not trying to get a perfect finish just a tidy up. I have a mate who's an auto paint rep thats going to check the code for me
