Looks like the demolishers had a length of roof guttering pulled from the refurbishment of the MCG main stand. A dozen cans of green paint and sold to the council for $100,000.

    Well done Swisho.
They turned that roundabout into an intersection with traffic lights and the 'Apple Peel' has been re-located 1 K further north.
Lang, LOL, 100% agree with you.

May be Pyrenees Hwy heading west from Castlemaine. Bridge used by the Maldon Tourist Railway. Road level dropped about a metre for better truck clearance. Walked across it once.

My money is with Paul, the I think labour govt took the bridge away for some years, but public dismay saw it eventually reinstated with a lower road.

Hmmm. Railway bridge made me think of Roderick Smith who was a prolific poster on here about these things (and editor of Rail News Victoria) - but haven't seen him on here of late? Any news?

    Hi all,
I had to scale back on posting, and was sticking to the where am I quizzes, but keep getting beaten to the correct answer.
I had the answer instantly, but it was up already.
