The trucking company was the F.J. Boutell Driveaway Co. .. the date is Feb 1940 .. the pic location was Chillicothe, OH .. and the cars are 1940 Buicks.
Notice how they are being delivered without bumpers .. presumably to reduce scratches and damage to bumpers in transit. It may also have been to enable the Buicks to fit in those tight loading spaces.
I reckon I'd want some decent heater in that old GMC. I dunno how these blokes did it .. that job must really define, hard-earned money.
