Does anyone know where I can get new 7.50 R 20 tyres?
My local tyre man said Wow, that is an uncommon size, they have not been popular for forty years. I said well the truck is sixty years old.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"
, but "who are you to demand that I justify them?"

From memory when looking for that size, it turned out cheaper and readily available to buy 8.25 x 20 radials. Bearing in mind i
needed a set of six. Gained about 40mm o/all diameter , and 6 , with tubes and r/bands was around $2,000.
That worked for me. I have 4 tubes and r/b looking for a home. No use to me.

Thanks you for the tips. I had forgotten about Antique Tyre Supplies. Will email them. Bigtyre.com show only one road-going tyre, the others are tractor steer. I shudder to think what the freight from Brisvegus would be but I might have to go that way. I cannot go to a bigger tyre. The manual for my truck says 5.50 or 6.00 and the tyres I am replacing are 7.00. 7.50 is the widest that will fit my wheels and I am not sure they will clear the front guards on full lock.
