Last friday I headed off to Bendigo to get some parts for the old benz .I found the dash light holders straight away and a rocker cover with oil filler cap for the engine But still haven't got a late model Ls 1418 headlight surround has anyone got another place to try. Hume

There's a nearly complete 1418 at Roclea Truck wreckers 07 3271 6996, ask for Ryan, and mention Cam said you had a 1418 down the back, he'll look after you. The bonnet is the only thing sold off the old girl, I've got a pic somewhere if I can find it.

Humehwy, are'nt they the same as a 60's VW Beetle? I've always thought they were the same part. Same as that other German truck, M-D Venus.

Also keep an eye out for a 911 Benz. There is the odd one about as some are rusted out fertilizer spreaders. Headlight rings may be the same. I think there was one on truckhub under trucks wrecking.
