International s line grille - Wanted

Hi all
i am looking for a grille for an International sf 2670 (S line)
Vertical bars..NOT horizontal
I don't wan't a cracked one or one thats a bit shabby...
Don't need the numbers of every wrecker in australia..
i have them on yellow pages.
I have checked the usual internet haunts..
If anyone has one hanging in a shed or knows someone who does...and it is for sale, i would appreciate the info.

Geez the vertical ones would be rare as.........never seen many of them about.

What was the reason for the vertical ones???

there were a few around...
reason for vertical bars?
you would have to seek that answer from someone at IH / Navistar i guess?
Styling / appearance for a model change would be the short answer?

I reckon i know a bloke down the road from you thatd probably get one for you cheap, deals in second hand gear, tractors, gen sets ect. Give hiom a ring, sure he'd strap one out for ya. And dont forget, fair exchange is no robbery!All the best,

from memory i think the sline grille was pre 1986, was horizontal, and after 1986 was vertigle

i reckon there was a few of each thrown in here and there..
typical ih..arrrr bang that in..
Just for reference, mines a '90 model.. Series 2 if ya like..
parts list still states the old grille, so don't go on that..
Just a vertical one will do

Chocs, the origianl reason 4 the vertical bars was to denote that the vehicle had a 400 cummins in it,but then became standard fit till the aero fronts came in , try Steve Mavro at AAA truck parts Cambellfield, he might'n have 1 , but should know where to get 1

they must have given that theory away in the design room too!
i thought it was to stop lizards climbing up the grille and sun baking on ya bonnet!
