I think we have had this discusion a while back. But anyway....
I have my vintage vehicles with RACV (NRMA has similar policy) vintage vehicle policy.
My steam engine is insured with Shannons (RACV didn't really know what to do with it )
I will be insuring my tractor also as it will be taken on the road. Haven't decided who I will insure it with. Expect it will depend on the quotes!

Shannon's don't do working commercial vehicles. I have a number of classic vehicles, my vintage caravan and the Dodge with them. I have only had to make one claim with them which because of the other drivers fault could have turned a bit messy, but i needn't have worried because Shannon's was very helpful and great to deal with.

NRMA (Make sure you only deal with the classic vehicle insurance section) if it's going to be a toy truck.
Shannon's are also good with trucks/commercial vehicles.

I'm with Shannon's. Reported a car getting in my way - they said it was my fault on account of me pulling out of side road no matter how mad car driver was. They obviously paid him out as I never heard any more about it. No change in premium.
