This was spotted at Nundle.

A bloke bought it ex army & used it for logging , years later the mill closed, so

they just walked away from every thing. A few years ago that blokes son was out in

the bush for some reason & came upon the old mill site. Amongst the under growth &

covered in vines etc was the old GMC. Havin a bit of a bo peep he realised that this

was his dads old truck. Later they went back , cleared it out of the trees etc & brought

it back home, with the idea of a full restoration..By the way, after a bit of fiddeling

around they drove it home under its own steam.

Not bad after all these years. .......................

Billy P you have got a gem there in the old Jimmy, that V8 chassis is a blitz and the yellow 4-71 is probably out of an Allis HD 9 judging by the logging winch up on the container. You should be able to find a good straight cab for the GMC out there somewhere.The homemade dog kennell is not very nice looking.In its first life it was likely a "half cab" rag top. rayman
