I'm currently down in the Melbourne area (Frankston) On my way down one of the contacts I spoke to said there is a Bedford J Type still at work in the Melbourne area. Has anyone seen it or know where it is based please?
And any others around here.
Many thanks
Richard

Saw a Cream TK Bedford with a air conditioned tautliner on the Midland Hwy heading up the hill towards the ring road out of Geelong the other day couldn't see who it belonged to

There is a mob around that are into scrap metal or similar that run a TK and a J model, both are tippers by the look of it. Could be from around Bayswater.

Those scrappies are in williamstown just off korroit creek road. Red cabs with black bins. Last I seen they had bout 1 late model Isuzu or hino which is a shame if they go this way and get rid of the old jiggers as they are impressive to see still working.
