Just wondering how small the world is. I remember well the coal trucks hauling coal from the mines of western Lake Macquarie to Munmorah (and Vales Point?) Power Stations, particularly during the 1970's.
Old Inter's (an ACCO called Jovial Joe), Leylands, a Foden and a green B61 Mack and a whole lot of other old school machinery trundling up Morisset hill loaded with coal.
In 1975 (I remember the year well) 3 W Model Kenworth's arrived on the scene and made a molehill out of the Morisset drag. One was a yellow banger with a Cummins under the bonnet, one was firetruck red called The Boss and sporting a detroit while the other W Model was green and also had a detroit under the hood.
Like I say, it's often a very small world, and I'm just wondering if anyone knows the trucks I'm talking about?
