doyles transport was created by jms52
I chasing some information on a 1977 kw which was owned by doyles transport.

Can anybody shed any light on the emblem above the windjammer sign on the roof kit.

A friend of mine in the west has the truck now and i am trying to find out information so i can make a model of the original truck (See SAR topic in The Model truck talk)

I have three photos of similar trucks but can not make out the sign writing on the sleeper behind the door nor the emblem on the roof. Also on of the photos i have been given by Darren (Werkhorse) has the name Windcheater on the wind kit on the roof which has confused the hell out of me. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi jms52,
You will find that the emblem is a sailing ship,[a windjammer]. Windjammers were the best of the merchant sailing ships .

Loosley. :) ;)

A windjammer is a type of large sailing ship, with an iron or, for the most part,
steel hull, built to carry cargo in the nineteenth and early twentieth century
