Hi Greg welcome to the forum. I also am keen to see your photos and any anecdotes and stories you have of a life in trucking.
Don't be surprised if various people here pepper you with requests for information!

Morris.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Bought back a few memories there!
Well remember those blue slimlines hot-footing it across both the Hay plains and the Murray Valley Hwy back in the 70's!
Bopping along with old F model Macks about 80-90 k's in a headwind, get a cupla quick flicks on the headlights, then they were gone!
Company trucks (Ansett) were still doing the relays, reckon the catch cry of the blue jiggers was "Last out-first home"!
From memory, Whitelaws did the "Rocket" and Ernie Daly ,(Benton-Daly Freightlines) did the last rigids out for the night.

Swishy, yep, some ridiculous times for the era, in an era of ridiculously fast trucks!
