Greetings. Time to throw in my 2 bobs worth. The Baraclough D5n used to get punished- he also towed at times a dog trailer giving the '53 a good work-out. I'm pretty sure the b&w B model had chrome mudgaurds- correct me if I'm wrong. Padlock Trading Atkinson had a Gardner, taken in Nuriootpa Dec '73 and the W model low loader taken in '73 aswell. I reckon the P-bilt was taken on the Parramatta road, the group of 3 was taken at West Wlong- joe Bromage, Cygnet Trans White & Dyer's 1418, The Ford was at a dealership on Parramatta road, the stock crate White belonged to Sid Nash & sons taken at Mt Lambie. The R Reo with the Hartridge pan was Lyndars- it was blue and one day at high school I saw it on the back of a semi looking rather sad- needed new mirrors. The Ford with a Riverland Trucking R model on the trailer was taken at Nuri- probably after school when I used to sit on my treadly at the post office corner. The logging units I took when I worked in Tasmania for 18 months '79-80. Enough chat, stayed tuned

Walk on walk of is the best kind of freight I reckon if you can handle the special smell

This photo of the Fruhauf cattle trailer is one I have looked for for many years, even tried to buy a new one but they had become Maxi cube then and didnt want my money
Thompsons from Dubbo had a heap of them but I have never seen a second hand one

I was given a photo of Don Watson Atkinson many years ago dunno if its the same truck or not
dunno if its ok to share on this thread or not
let me know if its not ok
