Our roads have come a long way, even in my short life time
We, probably me included sook about our roads but they are pretty good when you consider our small population and the size of our country

My Dad was a anti seat belter right to the end, I would laugh and roll my eyes listening to him carry on about every time we arrived home and passed thru the front gate
Seat belt off and a announcement about how wonderful it is to be free of that government telling him what to do
A bit like the anti vaxers of today I guess, in later years aI would laugh my head of at Dads big performance about this, red light cameras and speed cameras and the labour party
It would go on for hours, I would wind him up and leave him for Mum to enjoy as I left
