Browns had the BP outlet in our gold detecting days in the 70’s, one wall of the shop had a lot of photos of loads and bogs, in later years they were gone think new owners. One thing that once existed was trust, the diesel pump was at the back lane, we were given a key, fuelled up, locked pump then back to shop to pay for it. I do not think they had a link to the pump.
