Early Australian Kenworths was created by
Hi all, Does anyone out there have a listing of chassis numbers for the early Bayswater trucks.Come across lots of early Australian Kenworths & would like to put a name to them.Or am I venturing into forbidden territory.Have Seattle trucks & early Petes if anyone looking for a copy.

I don't know how far back the records go but you can ask KW's for a Build Letter for a chassis number and sometimes it lists the first owner if it wasn't a stock truck. Hope this helps.

TAC were tied up with F & H, IIRC that jigger turned up in Brisbane in the early to mid '80s. BCC had a similarly configured KW but, if memory serves corectly, with a low cab.

That old KW was on the coal down here for years. We called it ""The African Queen" cause most of the stuff was tied on with rope. Those air ram extensions are just welded on top of the donaclones there aint no hole in the lids.. :

There was also a twin steer triaxle rear Rigid K Model as either a fridge or pan based out of Kilcoy in the very early '80's.

I don't know if anyone can help me, but my Dad brought the 1000th Kenworth made in Australia in 1974. I would like to find out if it is still around. Does anyone have any ideas how I could do this?
