Sorry Slasha but there's an event at Lockington that weekend and that is where I will be

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

I've mentioned in a different thread that Mildura truck show coincides with a special voyage of PS Ruby from Wentworth to Mildura & return (possibly the show triggered the voyage). Ruby came through Abbotsford lifting-span bridge at 11.00 today (Sat.26.4), and left Coomealla Golf Club at 13.00. My guess is 16.00 into Old Mildura Homestead (below lock 11). One of yur truck organisers is also a paddleboat owner: is he arranging a parade to welcome Ruby in? There is a new extension to the plan: On Sunday morning, Ruby is coming up through lock 11, then back again, and home to Wentworth. It is offering short-sector rides as well as the full weekend voyage. Grab the rare chance to ride or photograph if you can.
You may well have the boat passengers visiting as part of their weekend's attractions.

Update: PS Ruby pulled in at 16.30. Tomorrow has been enhanced: up through lock 11 at 8.30; down again at 10.00, which hints at parading past the big wharf carpark, where vintage trucks could assemble and toot a salute. Bridging at Abbotsford has to be ~15.00-30.
Chances like this are rare.

Made the journey.
Saw a few different trucks, and some of the same.
Plenty of tractors a truck load of chainsaws and a few stationary engines.
Had a great dinner and met some different people.
Heard some ripping stories from guest speaker Tubbby Gilmore.
Will try and get a few pics up later.
