That is nearly all the pictures I have got from the show as you can see we had a wide variety of trucks and a great effort by everyone to turn up especially with the weather forecast but we were blessed not even a drop of rain both days.
Cant wait till next year.

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Thanks to SloSpeed and Chocs for going to the show, displaying vehicles AND finding the time to take these photos then put 'em up here.
I noticed the Burgandy 4300 Transtar with the tractor on the back, and there is something unusual about it. To me it looks like an 'S' line with an early Transtar bonnet on it?!?! Could this be an American import??? Or maybe I should get my eyes tested?? Over to you Mr Interland...

I'm thinkin the blue 4700 Tramcar in Slospeeds photos was originally Frank Amo's and was featured in TL in the late 90s.

Re: That 'transtar' South bound..
I reckon it was put together following a mishap.
I thought the job was done in Sydney many moons ago using a US cab.
I have been told the blokes name that did the 'conversion', but sorry it escapes me at present.
(obviously happy to be corrected on that info)
A fella by the name of Bob Begelhole bought that truck 'as a wreck' a few years back now...
It was Vesseys from Colac (Vic) maybe Wheadons before that??
The cab is narrower than 'our' S lines and has the same or similar flat dash like 42 /4300 transtar.
A little giveaway is the one piece windscreen.
The cab is something like app.1950mm wide as opposed to the Sline which is app. 2200mm wide.
I spent a fair bit of time with Bob 'recreating' that truck.
It has an inline 671 10 over.
A bit unique, and the young bloke that has it now keeps it well looked after.
that's all I got..

Thanks for the story and those great pictures Chocs. Wow, that truck ticks a lot of boxes for me, it's now retired and a toy hauler too. I see she has marked her spot on your shed floor too
Cheers Ross
