Bendigo Showgrounds June 7/8 was created by Rookie
I attended a Rally at the Bendigo Showgrounds on the weekend. The Rally was organised to raise money for Camp Quality (Kids with cancer). I couldnt stay long but took a couple of photos (sorry about poor quality). Love the KW and so did my son. Same year as my bus. The early Ford club were on display as well. I took the second photo for my brother inlaw who has just had a 1940 ute restored. I have a 1940 Aussie Pickup waiting its turn in the que for some attention.

I have spoken to the owner a couple of times and yes it is was built in 1946. He imported it from the US a while back as they were not sold here.

the kenworths are one of the most distinctive trucks..that 1946 model compared to a 2008 model look like they were designed on the same bit of paper... i dont think that oldy came out with alloy wheels though !
