Hi Ian, unfortunatly the link took me to the File Transfer site, let's give this one a go. The only one that I know of on this site that has a truck pictured is Mammoth, with the F 86 and the AEC at the end. I was there, but they didn't capture a snap of my smooth bit of gear, nor all the crap on the back.
;D ;D ;D

One of the really impressive things about the Allora show is the loading ramps - room enough for two road trains to back up side by side, plus another two light trucks side by side.
Haven't made my mind up what I will be taking this year, tho' one thing's for sure; the continuing rain has put the dampeners on any resto activity so nothing will be finished (again!)

Allora is getting close BUT there are floods down that way, on TV tonight they said it could take 2 weeks for the flood waters to recede. I intend leaving Townsville in about 2 week

Allora is in the Darling Downs which is in the high country so the water won't be sticking around for long. The site is a well established showground so should stand up to a bit of rain.

At this stage i won't be going unfortunaty. If the rain ever stops and the tide goes out work will be flat out. It's a top show to see.

Does anybody know if this show is still going ahead considering the flood situation now?
I'm sure there's many people who have more serious things to worry about. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those families affected by the floods in Queensland.

The local paper reports that Allora is currently isolated but another report (below) indicates the locals are doing whatever they can to ensure the weekend goes ahead. You would have to think they will be up against it but I wish them all the best.
