Well, we did it. What a great couple of days only made enjoyable due to the people who entered and came along. I met up with Chocs, Jimbo, Camma and AW in WW. Unfortunately still wouldn't know Hey Charger, Snaws or Scummy if I tripped over them :-[............ but I was a bit pre-occupied over the weekend.

I certainly need to thank Brad and grenfell34(ex-member) who helped out with everything along with numerous members of the WSHTC. Also Aerodyne for his contributions to the sponsorship thing.

Special mention goes to Chocs. I'd like to publically thank him for his personal contribution and financial sacrifice that he made. You are an amazing bloke mate and became a backbone of support for us, full of support and complete with one of the biggest genuine hearts I've come to know. Mrs Cunning took a shine to you (she can pick em) and it's hard to find the words.

Best way I can thank you is from the closest thing to my heart.......................... what you generously did for my boy and so many of his mates was one of the kindest things. Thanks mate.

And here's a selection of some of the few pics I took. I wish I took a few shots of the people lining the roads and waving us on.

I can't wait to see video's of trucks coming out of the Hole in the Wall.

well done bruce , you know how to reach a blokes tikka :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(,i am sure i can speak for Andy and say we both had a fantastic day ;)there was lots of friends there we did not see, but we know they were about ,take our word for it that HEY Charger and his co pilot are a loverly couple ,we know this because i saw his truck in the motel that we visited to drop some parts to a mate of Andy,s that drove his truck over from WA :o :), back to the story any way i asked some fellow truck lovers outside talkin where was Rod and ole mate said he is in that room , so i knocked on his door, introduced myself ,and we chatted for seems like ages ,then andy started looking for me (cannot be to hard to find a bloke on crutches)...as i say great times had by all, was a shame we has to leave early, and our discusion on the way home was basicly -HOPE YOU WILL DO THIS AGAIN ;), so by then we might have 2 trucks up and running .

we sorta always thought that choc,s ole mate was a good bloke...... 8-) 8-) :D ;)

Hi Ray, thanks for the compliments but more so, thanks for making the effort to come up with BOTH of your White's. Lots of positive comments about the Road Commanders especially from a few guys I know from the Southern Highlands areas. They all knew those Cluthers colours!!!

You backed this run right from the start mate, it meant a lot that you came on up 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Thanks to all those who posted pics of those Old Bangers. :)
Great to see them being restored to their old glory by those who love them, for those who fondly remember them. :)

Now I have to wipe all the dribble from my drooling off my keyboard. ;) :) :-[
