Melonreo - Swishy, running around in his short pants, way back then .. didn't know it .. but that scraper he's escorting is a very rare beast.
It's a WABCO BPA7 series, Model B Tournapull, dragging a BM14C series Model 339F scraper bowl.
This Tournapull was the very first machine to use fully hydraulic steering (as compared to its predecessors electric steering) .. because by the time this machine hit the road (in 1970), LeTourneau-Westinghouse were no more, having been purchased by the American Standard Co and renamed WABCO (in 1968).
Only FOUR, BPA7 series Model B's were sold in Australia, before they were replaced by the BPA-8 series, more commonly known as the 333F, its later name.
The BPA7 Model B Tournapull was powered by a 12V-71T rated at 500HP.
