Dash Cam problem........... was created by BillyP
.I bought a dash cam ....Autocam GPS FHD......a few years ago ...has been good....but for the last year has been playing up......
stopping, starting problems.........
There was a bad connection at the cig lighter plug .....not enough spring tension to keep the plug in contact........
Fixed that , and the other problems continued...........most people would throw it in the bin and buy a new one........
Me, being scrooge, decided to try and fix it.............
It appeared to be battery related, so i went in that direction...............
So i replaced the battery, also having a go at videoing the episode.............
Any way here is the outcome , good or bad, i don't know.......................

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

The important thing is your having a go. Last week, I fixed an ECU that the dealer said was kaput, and a new one was no longer available. $5 in parts from Jaycar and an hour later, I had the wheels turning again...
