Was at the sunny coast today.
Saw four fighter jets take off and get to altitude in nothing flat.
Made the domestic traffic’s rate of climb look a bit sad.

I wonder if the ride is as smooth as a domestic plane, reckon they might ride like a sports car but really have no idea

Working on more play time.
The G forces may be a bit higher in the fighter planes than a domesti plane. We lolve visiting Fighter World at Williamtown Base near Newcastleand especially on a Friday. This is when the planes that have been away return home and the leader does a low level fly by the legnth of the runway then a loop over the ocean, up the river and then they all land. Fantastic to watch and listen to on the squwark box in the museum.

Wonder why they chose Maroochydore airport for they training exercise.
No doubt there’d be a big ground crew plus security involved.
Perhaps too noisy for Brisy and a bit too far from Amberley?
I presume they would head up to Tin Can and wreak havoc at the Army training ground.

MOVED FROM CAIRNS TO VICTORIA & STILL TRYING TO WORK OUT WHY
I was based at Williamtown when the RAAF got the first of the F18s. During a demo a few weeks later, an F18 took off & as soon as the aircraft left the ground he went straight up & out of sight. Never saw a pilot attempt that in a Mirage.
