Thank you Paul, and I'm glad to see there is another nutter around. Funny you mention a Mack B, I showed the wife this pick this morning mentioning this www.justtrucks.com.au/trucks-for-sale/19...k-b43-b61/JTW4003639

Don;'t think I can do it though. The seller is so passionate, and would never forgive himself I think. Plus I don't think the GVM is there but I have no idea . I need something rated for 45.5T .

Better start a thread I suppose.

Earlier this year I watch a clip on a Company in the UK from memory who just do electric conversions on cars and yep trucks. They made it all look too easy so that to me is a red flag as to how tricky it may end up being but you sound as if your on track so go for it.
Not sure if Swishmans favourite marque, Volvo were playing around with the concept as well.

ElectricDreams,
Jason, keep us posted about progress on your trials (and tribulations) You might just come up with a saleable product. I think you will need a lot more knowledge of electrical systems and electronic controls than I have.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
