Hows Windows 11

I got Windows 11 a few weeks ago.................
I find it a bit frustrating ......................
I only do simple things........... .Bacically it is similar to 10 but the pages and directions are different.................
Things that were easy are now hard to find................
Copy and paste now (for me )........is a drama........... Same as getting a new folder.................
All sorts of things like that ...........
I suppose time will tell...............
In the meantime i kinda wish i had stayed with 10 .................

I agree with BillyP. The laptop I bought to keep with the times came with 10. Now last week I get a notification that I can upgrade to 11 free of charge and this happens when the laptop is shut down. It'd taken me some time to get the hang of editing the photos I post and I was happy with the way it worked. Nothing like an upgrade to shove you back to learn again and I find it to have more steps. I tried to work out how to go back to 10 by Googling info but I aborted that idea as it was running rings around my knowledge of computers so I'll plug on with working with 11.

Windose XP running from a Oracle VM Virtual Box
cos I still like me ACDSEE, PAINT , ULEAD giffy animator etc

Call me a dinosaur but it all went downhill after windows 7. That was the pinnacle of evolution.....thanks for the built in obsolesence Mr Gates and Allen

I’m same as Swishy.
On my Mac I run Parallels to use Windows XP so my older versions of Autocad etc will go.
No upgrades, no support and everything works a treat.

When we moved to our current house almost four years ago I had a lot of trouble accessing this forum on WORD and the webmaster suggested I use FIREFOX instead. I changed and I can now access the forum OK except for frequently losing part or even whole messages I have laboriously typed.
My local Computer nerd suggested instead of paying $100 to $150 a year to keep current with OFFICE365 I switch to GMAIL. Now I find I cannot update any of the documents I created in OFFICE. I think I will have to pay him to come here again and show me how to do it, or maybe I have to bite the bullet and pay to join OFFICE again.

.I guess my main problem is, i cannot handle change too good these days.........
A bit like getting a new fone...............
I suppose you can do more technical things with eleven............
But as i said,.....the simple things have been made hard.............

My old desktop puta still runs Windows 7 Pro. Is now out of date for any new updates but occasionally new ones do make it through. I have no issues at all with the puta unless it it the NBN stuffing up, which is rare. I also run Firefox with no major problems so paying for some upgrade to me is not needed but salesman will sell you anything you dont want.
I have a laptop that runs Windows 10 and I am going to sell it as I never did like that program because it has changes in it that I dont like or can use. So I will continue to plod away on my old system and the world can pass me by.

The sad part is the bastards eventually force change on us, some programs I was running no longer run because the program has been upgraded, choice us upgrade or do without, the later is winning currently, but the busted screen and bad language may force option one.

On my desktop adobe is having a hissy fit wanting me to delete it and that has to be becasue of age. The other thing that was taken away by Microsoft was my WINZIP file which I do miss. I can buy it again but I thought I had already bought years ago.
