Paul, it's not about allowing only certain opinions, it's been removed because it's nefarious b.s., designed to change opinions.
Opinions should be formed from fact, not barefaced lies.
Removal of known misinformation is obligatory on an honourable forum.

I certainly understand why moderators make decisions for the forum they are involved with and that every forum has various ideas on what is right or not. In the end if there is a legal issue started over a post it is the moderators who get chased down first, unfortunately.
Yes we do live in a time of freedom of speech providing it doesn't upset some minority and then the louder they scream the more right they become in the eyes of the law.
It is sad that it has come to this but it is what it is, unfortunately

I noticed on the news last night that those that had an opposing view to those on the left, were told to leave the demonstration because they were upsetting the radicals. We’re on a race to the bottom. How did it get to this. Australia, love it or leave it.

Im not gunna let it go as easy as that
It was Australia day, our day, my day, everyone's day that calls themselves a Australian
If we are gunna fact check do we do it for all things ?
Or is just things that might upset the noisy few
What about the "sometimes sayings" ?
The thread that ran when we was all in lock down we're people all told yarns ?
What the "scallywagz wize words"
And on and on
I stand by what I said before
Anyway as I have said plenty of times on here and other forums, "we only get the forum we create" or some such dribble
If we want something over sanitized and heavily moderated then that is what we as the forum users will create
The forum has changed a lot in recent times
Anyway I will go with the flow and on occasions like this I will voice my opinion in hopefully what comes across as been polite and respectful of all
I do believe I am allowed to do that without everyone jumping on me
Happy days everyone
Paul

Yeah, it's a hard life, and despite the bleeding hearts (or bleating farts) life continues in much the same way it has for decades.
Bottom line: Life wasn't meant to be easy. (Blame Paul, and that is not Mrsmack either!)
