They'll find us eventually. No doubt before long it'll look like the back of our sheds what with all the cobwebs from the search engine spiders...hee hee.

This program does not know much about the search Engines, I am in the stage of doing a mod so it will see things like Google & Yahoo

Foggy, a search engine is something like Google or Yahoo. You know where you type in Bedford and see what comes up?!

The spiders are what that search engine uses to "crawl" around the net to find all of the references so when you type in "Bedford" it comes up with pages of stuff. Owing to the size of the net, search engines have heaps of spiders out looking at websites of all descriptions.

I'm all upset now! :'( Wasn't online to help set the record!

Do we really want the search engines to be crawlying the forum?

The reason I say this is that it could slow the speed that the forum runs at.

Also I will have to check but I believe that the search engines have found the forum a couple of times already. And the other point is that generally the search engine spiders operate during the American Night. So during the day here! So is unlikely to be seen when many of us are online!
