Holden Maloo v. Ford Transit Van ??

G'day all.

I know that the Men of Oz like our TV programme 'Top Gear'
Last night in the UK there was an amusing drag race between A Maloo Ute and a Transit Van.

This is not my film clip, and for some reason it is 'flipped'.
This is annoying but does not ruin the fun.

The first bit is Old stuff but then runs into last night's race after 2 mins 38secs......

that episode was screened here a couple of months back ...the aussie version of top gear is below average,it is beaten by the original pommy version in everyway ie by a full ford transit length

Gotta agree with you. The Aussie version is lame. Seems every time we try to re-make an English show it just doesn't have the winning formula.Much like the Americans remaking English 70s situation comedies in the 70s.More embarrassing than funny....

Yeah we have had the one of the piggy back in England as well as when they asked the Germans to have a crack.

You'd be right in saying that Roland, the Oz version is just saaaaaaaaaad, but then most English shows have a sense of humour that most simply cannot replicate
At least with Clarkson you know your going to get something off the cuff.
