pommy roadblock . . .

Possibly an LAD-cabbed truck going by that dash.

Been told it is one of Mc Mullen's Leyland Comets and it was taken around the bottom of Picnic Point hill in the very early 60's.


I recently sent the photo to the Leyland Society of Great Brittain (web page here ) to try and claim a world land speed record for a Leyland Comet, I think I might be close.
...Still waiting on a reply.

You guys sure its fair dinkum, maybe there is a BIG magnet down the bottom of the speedo. HEY swishy, don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. I have seen the bedford in beamish colours in your photos. Or Was it deadly dave hacked in and put it there. ian.
