My boss is thinking of replacing our 425hp Cat powered 1997 Frieghtliner.
A local freight company wants to rehome 2 Detroit powered cabover Kenworths.
We have 3 cat loaders and 4 cat powered trucks. Not that we have looked for cat powered trucks but we run a feedlot and have always got stray cats around.
Should we change brands? Why/why not.

I think if its a good truck and it suits your needs then get it. Some people are brand loyal and buy a bucket of puss just because its a brand x. Others like to keep the mechanical side simple by working on the same systems and using the same parts for every truck.
At the end of the day, if the truck has been looked after, is reliable and is suitable to my needs, I'd buy it.
