Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"
, but "who are you to demand that I justify them?"
Across Australia... was created by Eddy
... twice ...
So a sms came through on my phone.
"interested in driving a Truck to Broome? "
well ... what could I say?
Seems a friend of a bloke I do some part time work for, had bought a truck, and needed a delivery driver.
So, after many minutes of careful planning, I got onto a plane to Melbourne, got a ride out to some bloke's house, climbed into a 2005 Iveco Eurocargo, and drove to Broome ... all up 5,740 kms. then got onto another plane and flew back.
some pix to come ... ...

Here she is, about to leave her old home
new owner's other toy on board for a test fit
In the workshop fitting gates
breakfast at sunrise on the start of the 90 mile straight
No steering wheel needed here for a couple hours
Parked in the shade at her new home
A cable beach sunset

That's the way to do it. Nice little adventure at someone else's expense.

Not real sure why anyone would head West with a half empty truck? Seems like a good chance to line the pockets gone. Envious?... you betcha!

Leyland doesn't have @#$^& speed limiter ... can pull out and get to 110 (or more ... [who said that!?] ) for overtaking purposes.
Air con and power steer is nice tho ...
