Sounds like there is some playing goin on in there..

Next they will be firing 30 pound of air, through a roadranger air reg, into the STC oil gadget.. ::)

tripple trouble! i have a mate with 1 in a t600 87 moddel an its been realy good still gettin 2.3k to the ltr on its weight running sydney! only other one i know of was a shit box from brand new in a t650 so i gues u just get good and bad!

I've never run one, but I have had a couple- BOTH were smokey, so i did a bit of research myself (probably you've seen the same on the net whale)
From what i found, they are a good motor- not necessarily as bulletproof as the old 350's / 400's, but still worth a go.
Apparantly you can get a heap of power out of them, if you want to go down that route.... I reckon there was a site in the US where the bloke is getting 600hp out of them, or so they say, anyway!
Both the ones we had went well, and I think are still smokey, and still running and working well!
So I wouldn't be shy about owning one, as everyone says, just look after it and you'll be right.
